rokup1Roku has long been the leader in free video channels; however, with so many channels to choose from, finding the best can be difficult.

So here are the top 10 free Roku video channels as of December 3rd, 2016, according to the Roku Channel Store. (Note: We only included video channels on this list. Pandora would once again be number 2, but it only offers audio and was the only audio channel that would have been on this list.)

Big Movers This Month

Very little change over all this month.

ABC was the only new Roku Channel this month likely because of the free stream of A Charlie Brown Christmas. The only app to drop out was Fox News from 10 in November to just outside the top 10 in December.

News seems to still be a main focus of Roku streaming in the last month; however, it seems people are cutting back on the amount of news they are watching as apps such as The CW jump to the top of the list. I was expecting to see a big drop in news channels as the election ends but that may not be noticed till January or February.
