TikTok is taking off into the streaming music world. The company announced today the launch of TikTok Music in Brazil and Indonesia.

TikTok Music is a subscription-based streaming app much like Spotify, Apple Music, or Amazon Music, and connects with a user’s existing TikTok account. You can find your favorite jams, download songs for offline listening, and connect with fellow music enthusiasts through the app’s social media features.

TikTok Music lets you discover new songs through recommendations based on your listening history. You can import your personal music library as well. There’s even a feature that lets members search for songs with a few lines of lyrics.

The company declined to comment if the service will expand to more countries, though it did release a statement hinting the possibility will be left open.

No word yet on when or if it will come to the United States but it is expected to come in the future.

“We are excited about the opportunities for TikTok Music, for music fans, artists, and the industry, but we don’t have any more news to share on future plans,” said TikTok as reported by TechCrunch.

“We are pleased to introduce TikTok Music, a new kind of service that combines the power of music discovery on TikTok with a best-in-class streaming service. TikTok Music will make it easy for people in Indonesia and Brazil to save, download and share their favorite viral tracks from TikTok,” said Ole Obermann, TikTok’s Global Head of Music Business Development. “We are excited about the opportunities TikTok Music presents for both music fans and artists, and the great potential it has for driving significant value to the music industry.”

There’s no free plan for TikTok Music, at least not yet. In Brazil, a subscription costs $3.49. For the first year, Indonesian members using Android devices can get TikTok Music for $2.96 a month. After that, a subscription will cost $3.25, the same as the subscription cost for iOS users.
