The NFL returns to Prime Video with a matchup between AFC East rivals when the Miami Dolphins host the Buffalo Bills. This year’s Thursday Night Football schedule features every team that made the 2023 NFL Playoffs, and six teams making multiple appearances.
“Our upcoming TNF schedule includes great games all season long, including 12 between fierce division rivals, the Super Bowl Champion Chiefs hosting Black Friday Football, and we’ll cap the season for the first time with the first-ever NFL postseason game on Prime Video. I can’t wait to kick things off in Miami on September 12,” said Jay Marine, vice president, Prime Video, and global head of sports and ads
During the broadcasts, viewers will be treated to Prime Insights, a new advanced AI-powered feature that will enhance the viewing experience:
New for 2024 Prime Insights
- Pressure Alert: TNF’s latest AI-powered model that tracks defenders attacking the offensive backfield during live action and highlights those that are in position to disrupt the play.
- Defensive Vulnerability: The first AI-powered TNF feature that steps beyond highlighting players to identify key areas of the field. A proprietary machine learning model uses thousands of data points before the snap to analyze defensive and offensive formations, and highlight where the offense will—or should—attempt to attack.
- Coverage ID: This innovation uses an AI model combined with live player tracking data to identify the defensive scheme (e.g. Zone, Man) for fans in real time before the snap.
