The beloved CBS comedy-drama Northern Exposure, long banished to the world of DVDs and Blu-Rays, is now available for streaming for the first time ever thanks to Amazon Prime Video.

Amazon quietly released all six seasons, totally 110 episodes, earlier this week, with TV Line the first to spot it on the service. The episodes are available in high definition and retain their original 4:3 aspect ratio. It’s only available to U.S. customers.

Northern Exposure starred Rob Morrow as Joel Fleischman, a neurotic New York City physician forced to practice medicine in the remote town of Cicely, Alaska. The show started as a mid-season replacement when it premiered in 1990, but garnered a following that allowed it to run another five seasons, while nabbing seven Emmy awards along the way. It was a top-10 show throughout the early ’90s.

The show was known for its quirky sensibilities and intriguing characters. Despite its popularity at the time, it’s a show that has largely been absent from the streaming world — until now.

The cast also included Barry Corbin as multi-millionaire Maurice Minnifield, Janine Turner as love interest Maggie O’Connell, Darren Burrows, John Cullum, Cynthia Geary, Elaine Miles, and John Corbett (Sex and the City).
