How to stream the Twilight saga
Netflix
As of July 2021, Netflix is currently the only subscription service that lets you stream all the movies from The Twilight Saga.
There are three plans that you can choose from, with each varying in the number of simultaneous streams that you receive:
- Basic: For $8.99 per month, you receive one simultaneous stream with unlimited movies and TV shows.
- Standard: You can upgrade to two simultaneous streams and two download devices for $13.99 a month in available HD.
- Premium: The top-tier plan costs $17.99 per month for up to four simultaneous streams and downloads with both HD and Ultra HD available.
With your own Netflix subscription, you can stream the entire Twilight saga in order and without interruption.
Renting vs. buying the Twilight saga
The Twilight saga movies are also available for purchase or rent through several online video rental services. When you rent the movies, you can access a digital copy for a limited period. Buying the movies lets you own the digital copy and you can watch them whenever you want without any deadlines.
Amazon Prime Video
Besides the titles in its on-demand streaming library, Amazon Prime Video lets you rent or purchase select movies and shows as well. This includes all the movies from the Twilight saga.
Rentals typically cost $3.99, regardless of whether you choose standard definition (SD) or high definition (HD). Some titles are also available in ultra high definition (UHD) for the same price. You can also buy an SD or HD copy of the movies for $9.99 or $12.99 each, respectively. What’s great about the Google Play option is that you can get all the movies along with bonus content in a bundle for $29.99. Keep in mind that this bundle offer isn’t available for rental options.
iTunes
The Twilight saga movies are also available for rent or purchase on the iTunes Store. For the first movie, you only have to pay $3.99 to rent it and $12.99 to buy it in either HD or SD. The rest also cost $3.99 each to rent for both SD and HD versions. Buying a copy will set you back $12.99.
Alternatively, you can save a bit of money if you get the complete bundle instead. This includes all the movies from the saga and costs $29.99 for both SD and HD versions.
Vudu
Besides the free titles available on Vudu, you can also rent or purchase select movies and shows, including the Twilight saga. Rentals cost $3.99, regardless of title or streaming quality, and you can stream Twilight up to UHD. While the rental period is also 30 days, you only have 24 hours to finish the video once you start streaming.
You can also buy the first movie in SD or HD for $3.99 or in UHD for $12.99. To buy SD versions of the other titles, it’ll cost you $9.99 each. And HD or UHD copies will cost $12.99 each. Unfortunately, the bundle option doesn’t include the second installment of Breaking Dawn and still costs $29.99, so you might want to get it from iTunes or Google Play instead.
