The Top 10 Free Fire TV Apps as of November 2016

Fire TV 36The Fire TV library of apps has been quickly growing to offer a range of apps giving users access to a ton of 100 percent free content; however, many of the apps are not video apps, so it can be difficult to find good cord cutting apps.

So here are the top 10 free video Fire TV apps as of November 6th 2016. (Note: These are streaming apps only. No games or weather apps included.)

#1 YouTube:
#2 The CW:
#3 CBS News:
#4 NBC:
#4 NBC News:
#5 CBS Sports:
#7 UFC:
#8 PBS Video:
#9 Fox News:
#10 NBC Sports:

A few honorable mentions are PBS Kids,  Plex, Twitter, Tubi TV, and ABC.

Biggest Fall

In a very shocking drop Twitter’s new app fell from the #4 spot to not even making the top 10 in its second month on the market.

Biggest Jump

In what may be no surprise to anyone the CW app jumped from not being listed to the #2 spot. Hopefully other networks will see this and realize there may be a market for good ad-supported next-day apps.

Overall this may be one of the biggest shakeups since we started these lists. Apps such as PBS Kids and Twitter drop out; however, somehow the local WWSB TV station not only stayed in the top 10 but also jumped up on the list a few spots.
