The Roku Channel & The NFL Launch a 24/7 NFL Draft Channel With Content From The NFL Vault

Today, Roku and the NFL Launched a new 24/7 NFL Draft Vault channel. This channel is full of classic NFL draft moments and content. This will allow you to relive the NFL draft as you get ready for the 2024 NFL draft, which will start on April 25, 2024.

This continues Roku’s partnership with the NFL and other sports leagues. Roku already has a 24/7 free NFL channel full of highlights, classic games, and other NFL programs.

Here is how Roku describes this new NFL Draft Vault channel:

The NFL Draft Vault is your 24/7 streaming destination for the countdown to the 2024 NFL Draft in Detroit on The Roku Channel. Viewers will be able to relive the best moments from previous NFL Draft broadcasts, watch historic rookie games and highlights, and go behind the scenes of prospects’ journeys to the NFL.

Recently Roku announced a new partnership to launch a free NBA channel on the Roku Channel called NBA Zone.

This new free 24/7 channel will offer highlights of recent games, re-airings of NBA games, and other NBA programs on The Roku Channel.

“Roku offers the kind of sports streaming experience that no other platform has—everything is tailored to the fan, whether they’re a die-hard fanatic or just getting into the local team,” said Joe Franzetta, Head of Sports, Roku. “This strategic league partnership brings us a giant step further in our mission to make sports programming both easy to find and engaging to watch. We’re giving our users floor seats to an always-on experience, and we’re proud to be doing it in close collaboration with the NBA.”   

“We’re thrilled to expand our partnership with Roku with the NBA’s first FAST Channel and other NBA content and functionality that will serve as an enticement and on-ramp to live NBA games,” said Greg Beaton, NBA Senior Vice President of Content Partnerships. “This partnership supports our goal of reaching NBA fans with our content in innovative ways.” 

With this deal, Roku will also exclusively distribute over 40 live NBA 5 League games during the 2024–2025 NBA G League season.

This partnership is a big win for Roku as it tries to bring in more exclusive sports rights.
