Roku, the leading TV streaming platform in the United States, and Max, Warner Bros. Discovery’s flagship streaming service, today announced the launch of Max on The Roku Channel. This partnership brings a vast library of entertainment to Roku users, including HBO, Warner Bros., Max Originals, DC, Harry Potter, and popular shows like “Friends” and “The Big Bang Theory.”

Roku customers can now subscribe to Max directly through The Roku Channel, choosing between the ad-supported plan at $9.99 per month or the ad-free plan at $16.99 per month.

“We are excited to partner with Warner Bros. Discovery to bring Max to The Roku Channel,” said a Roku spokesperson. “This addition gives our customers even more choice and value, all within a seamless streaming experience.”

Max offers a wide array of content, including HBO Originals like “The Last of Us” and “House of the Dragon,” Max Originals such as “Hacks,” and a collection of classic films and series. The service also includes live sports and news through the B/R Sports Add On and CNN Max.

With the addition of Max, The Roku Channel now boasts over 55 Premium Subscriptions, providing users with a centralized platform to manage and access their favorite streaming services.

Max will continue to be available as a standalone app on the Roku platform.
