The New Live TV Streaming Service Venu Sports Will Include Multi-View, DVR, & More

Earlier this year, Walt Disney’s ESPN, Fox, and Warner Bros. Discovery announced a new streaming bundle that will offer 16 live sports channels and zero non-sports-related channels. For sports fans, this may be “the” dream service, letting them watch sports without paying for the Disney Channel or MTV.

Now, thanks to a leak spotted by Lowpass, we have learned a lot about the new streaming service, including that it will offer Multi-View, DVR, and more. You will also be able to disable current scores for games or have them set to be publicly available.

The leak happened because the developers apparently left a copy of the app that Lowpass spotted publicly available online.

One interesting thing is that the app included references to XO Sports, which seems to be a placeholder for the sports name before it was publicly listed as Venu Sports.

As Lowpass’s Janko Roettgers says, this is an early beta app, and things could change as the service gets closer to launch ahead of this year’s fall sports. You can find screenshots of the app online HERE.
