Hulu has just announced that they’ll be renewing one of their most popular original series, The Handmaid’s Tale, for a fourth season.

The show is currently 10 episodes into its third season, with news of the renewal coming over 2 weeks before the season finale. The Handmaid’s Tale also recently earned an impressive 11 Primetime Emmy Award nominations, including outstanding directing, writing, guest actress and guest actor. (Due to the timing of the series airing and Emmy rules, only three episodes from season 2 were eligible for consideration.)

The Hulu Original series, which premiered in 2017, is based on the novel by Margaret Atwood and was turned into an incredibly popular TV series by Bruce Miller. The show is set in Gilead, a totalitarian society in what used to be part of the United States. Elisabeth Moss stars as June, renamed Offred, who is determined to survive the fundamentalist society and fight for the daughter who was taken from her.
