The Good Place’s Final Season Lands on Netflix Sept. 26

Oh, dip! Fans of The Good Place may have been disappointed that the show came up empty at the Emmys over the weekend, but they won’t have much longer to wait to stream the show’s fourth and final season. Show creator Michael Schur tweeted out his thanks to all those who worked on and watched the show throughout its four-year run and concluded by saying the NBC hit’s final season would come to Netflix on Sept. 26th.

The show’s characters and overall story evolve greatly throughout the series and it would be spoiling things to go into too much detail about what’s in store in season 4. But for those who haven’t given the show a shot: The Good Place focuses on a group of humans adjusting to the afterlife. The show skillfully weaves topics like ethics and morality into its clever humor and surprising character depth.

And while the show did well with critics and has earned a loyal following, it wasn’t able to break through at the Primetime Emmys during its run. The Good Place earned 14 Emmy nominations over the years, including seven this year, but was didn’t score a win.

For those who have been interested in the show and were waiting for the complete series to come to Netflix, you won’t have too much longer to wait. The fourth and final season of The Good Place hits Netflix on Friday, Sept. 26th.
