The Free Streaming Service Tubi Has 64 Million Monthly Active Users

One of the fastest-growing areas in cord cutting is free ad-supported streaming. Now we get an idea of just large it is tanks to new numbers from Tubi that show the service now has 64 million monthly active users.

As inflation hits, streamers increasingly streamers are cutting back on the number of streaming services they pay for. This has helped free services like Tubi attract new users looking for cheaper options.

“As subscription costs continue to rise, nearly 1 in 3 streamers plan to reduce spending on streaming services this year,” said Mark Rotblat, Chief Revenue Officer, Tubi. “With consumers turning to AVOD to complement the select SVOD services they choose to keep, Tubi offers a brand-safe environment for advertisers looking to tap into an incremental, young, diverse, and highly engaged streaming audience.”

Additionally, Tubi’s core younger viewership remains strong – more than 1 in 3 (36%) Tubi streamers are between the ages of 18 and 34.

Right now, Tubi FOX’s free streaming service offers viewers free access to more than 50,000 titles from 455 content partners. Tubi also has a growing list of curated free channels full of programming from a growing list of partners, including Warner Bros. Discovery.
