The Free Streaming Service FilmRise Adds “Unsolved Mysteries: Behind The Legacy”

This week the free streaming service FilmRise announced a deal to add “Unsolved Mysteries: Behind The Legacy” to their service. This hour-long tribute to the iconic series that shaped how true crime shows are now.

“In the early days of FilmRise, Unsolved Mysteries was one of the very first programs we distributed. The industry was in the embryonic stages of AVOD and FAST, and the series gained fresh momentum and widespread success via this new medium of home entertainment. We feel Unsolved Mysteries is embedded into the DNA of FilmRise, and credit it as one of the reasons for the company’s rapid success. This new show will sit down with co-creators Terry Dunn Meurer and John Cosgrove, along with long-time producers and directors of the show, fans will get to pull back the curtain and experience their favorite show in a whole new light.
