One note: You will still need a modem for internet. These are just Wi-Fi routers to create a Wi-Fi network in your home from your internet service provider’s modem.

ZyXEL Multy X Kit
Now ZyXEL is likely not a name you know here in the United States. They have a huge following in Europe, but they are now for sale in the US. Of all the mesh systems we have tested, the ZyXEL is by far the best. Crazy fast speeds and a great range means you will be streaming in the back yard just like you would in your house.

Netgear NightHawk AC1750
Need something less expensive? Check out the Netgear NightHawk AC1750. This is a great mid-range router that is under $100 (at the time of this posting). I have used these routers before, and you will find many of the features of the X6S but without the price. This is a great option for anyone with a smaller area to cover.
