Amazon Prime Video subscribers will be now be able to stream seasons of “Donald Trump’s ‘The Apprentice’ “The Apprentice.”
Amazon announced Monday that first seven seasons of the reality competition series, hosted by Donald Trump, will be coming to the platform, starting today, March 10, with Season 1. Each season will roll out weekly, every Monday through April 27.
Each season of the series featured 16 contestants who competed against each other in business-related tasks, from running a pop up shop to negotiating bulk order deals. The tasks tested leadership skills and forced contestants to get creative in sales and marketing strategies. At the end of the tasks, some contestants were brought to the board room to be judged by Trump and a panel. In the end, the winner was given a job with The Trump Organization and a salary of $250,000.
Mark Burnett, producer of the series said “The Apprentice is one of the best shows that I ever produced. The charismatic onscreen presence of President Donald J. Trump made it a bona fide hit! Now, thanks to Prime Video, a whole new audience will experience a new season every Monday. This show is a love letter to New York City! Survivor grew an entirely new massive audience as result of old seasons being binged during the pandemic. On Monday, March 10, this same phenomenon will begin again…with The Apprentice.”
