The Apple TV App is Now Available on Amazon’s Fire TV

Today Apple and Amazon announced the Apple TV app will be available on Amazon’s Fire TV starting today. The app has been available on Apple TVs since June 2019 and has since been added to other smart TVs.

Right now the Apple TV app is available on the Fire TV Stick 2nd Gen and the Fire TV Stick 4K in United States, Canada United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, and India.

Now the Apple TV app on your Fire TV provides you another way to subscribe to streaming services like CBS All Access, HBO, Starz, AcornTV, Britbox, CuriosityStream, MTV Hits, Shudder, and more from the Apple TV app on your Fire TV. The Fire TV Cube, Fire TV Pendant, Fire TV Edition Smart TVs, and the Nebula soundbar will soon get the Apple TV app.

The Apple TV app also has a Kid section full of find kid-friendly content from across multiple streaming services and will give you access to the movies and TV shows you purchased through iTunes.

Back in March, Apple promised the Apple TV app would be eventually be available on the Fire TV and Roku. The Apple TV app went live on Roku about a week ago and now it has been added to the Fire TV.
