The 2019 MLS Cup Will Air For Free On ABC and Univision

Group of young people watching soccer matchThe 2019 MLS Cup will air live on ABC and Univision networks in the U.S, MLS announced in a press release. This is the first time the championship game will air on ABC since 2008.

“ABC has a rich history of soccer coverage, including MLS Cup for more than a decade in the year years of Major League Soccer,” said Burke Magnus, executive VP, programming and scheduling, at ESPN. “We are excited to once again showcase the league’s marquee event on the network.”

Following six Round One games on Oct. 19 and Oct. 20, the four Eastern and Western Conference Semifinal games will be played on Wednesday, Oct. 23 and Thursday, Oct. 24. Two games will be played on each of the match dates, and just four teams, two from each conference, will advance.

The MLS Cup game will air November 10 at 3 p.m.
