Earlier this month, we learned that the Ninja Turtles were coming soon to MeTV Toons, a channel dedicated exclusively to the very best of classic animation. Now, the network has given us a premiere date. Audiences will be able to catch classic episodes of TMNT starting September 15.

The original 1980s animated series featuring heroes in a half-shell will join the MeTV Toons Monday-Friday lineup weekday mornings at 7:30am, afternoons 4pm, and late-night at 12a ET/PT beginning September 15.

The classic cartoon first premiered in 1987 as a five-part miniseries that grew to become a one of the most popular animated series in television history. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles features Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael and Michelangelo, a fictional superhero team of turtles trained in ninjutsu living in the sewers of New York City.

You can watch MeTV Toons on Philo, Frndly TV and Fubo, and the channel was recently added to DIRECTV.
