TCLtv+ is making a big move in the anime space. The free streaming service has announced a new partnership with VIZ Media that brings some of the most popular anime titles ever made directly to its lineup. The deal includes dedicated FAST channels for Naruto, Hunter x Hunter, Inuyasha, and Sailor Moon, plus a new TCL Anime category featuring fan favorites like Death Note, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, and Captain Tsubasa.
The service is rolling out a full slate of single-IP FAST channels and a platform-wide anime hub. Here’s what viewers can expect.
Naruto Channel (Available Now)
Naruto and friends face Orochimaru, battle escaped convict Mizuki, and journey to the Land of the Birds to confront the Cursed Warrior.
The Naruto FAST channel includes 11 movies from the franchise, including Naruto Shippuden films.
Hunter x Hunter Channel (December)
Gon, Leorio, and Kurapika take on the brutal Hunter Exam as they strive to earn their place among the elite.
Launching in December, this channel follows Gon’s quest to become a Hunter and find his father.
Inuyasha Channel (December)
Kagome is transported back in time where she joins Inuyasha on a mission to recover the shards of the Shikon Jewel.
Featuring both Inuyasha and Inuyasha: The Final Act, plus four films.
Sailor Moon Channel (December)
Usagi and the Sailor Guardians battle dark forces and protect the universe in a series that helped define magical girl anime.
Includes Sailor Moon, Sailor Moon Crystal, and three movies.
TCL Anime Category
A new platform hub for classic and high-profile series from VIZ Medi, think of it as a round-the-clock destination for signature anime and manga titles across genres. Titles include Death Note, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, and Captain Tsubasa.
Bleach Films on AVOD
Four fan-favorite Bleach movies are also joining the lineup: Fade to Black, Hellverse, Memories of Nobody, and The DiamondDust Rebellion.
These films hold a cult following for their high-stakes storytelling and standout animation.
Anime viewership continues to surge in the United States, especially among Gen Z, where nearly half of young viewers watch anime weekly. The TCLtv+ update adds high-demand titles for free, offering new value to TCL owners and anyone using the TCLtv+ app.
Catherine Zhang, VP of Content Service and Partnership at TCL, said the partnership expands TCL’s catalog and gives fans “a gateway to experience the rich storytelling and artistry of Japanese pop culture.”
JP Villanueva, Senior Director of Sales and Distribution at VIZ Media, added that the collaboration makes it “easier than ever for viewers to experience the stories and artistry that define the genre.”
TCLtv+ now features more than 400 free FAST channels, plus a wide mix of movies, series, news, sports, music, nature, kids’ content, and more. The app is available on TCL TVs and through the app store.
