TCL’s New 2019 Roku TV 6-Series With 4K HDR Was Just Cleared By The FCC

We have known for some time now that TCL had new Roku TVs in the works. Back at CES TCL even announced new 8K Roku TVs. Recently though the FCC approved a new line of TCL Roku TVs with a new look and a voice remote. This new filing was first spotted by Janko Roettgers.

These new TVs have the model number of R625 and R627. Both models come with a 60Hz refresh rate 4K HDR. The new TVs come with 4 HDMI ports, Ethernet, RCA, support for antennas, and optical audio out. Sadly these are not the new 8K Roku 8-series TVs that was announced back at CES. You can find the manual for the new 2019 6-series HERE. (It is also important to note that this looks to be the Amazon version of the TCL 6-Series. Best Buy has a cheaper version without a voice remote.)

The 2018 TCL Roku TV 6-series was our pick for the best TV under $1,000. Now it looks like TCL is stepping up its efforts to keep that title with an updated look to the TCL 6-Series TV. Sadly there are still many features we still don’t know about.

Cord cutters News is keeping an eye on this news and will post more as we learn more about these new TCL Roku Tvs.
