T-Mobile’s Fiber Home Internet Service Expands Into 3 New Markets

Back in 2021 T-Mobile started to offer fiber home internet in select markets. Now T-Mobile will be rolling out fiber home internet in two new states. Last year, T-Mobile expanded that into Minnesota and Flordia by partnering with third-party internet companies to offer its services in those areas.

Now, according to a report from LightReading, T-Mobile has expanded its Fiber service into three new towns in Colorado and Flordia.

With T-Mobile fiber home internet, pricing starts at $55 a month for 500 Mbps, and speeds go up to 2 Gbps plans that start at just $100 a month. T-Mobile says its home internet service comes with no data caps, no contracts, cancel any time, and 24/7 support.

T-Mobile will also give you a Wi-Fi 6 router for free if you sign up for their fiber internet service.

Currently, the service is only available in New York, NY; Pueblo and Northglenn, CO; Kenosha, WI; Bloomington, along with St. Cloud, MN; and Pinellas County, FL. If you live in one of these markets, T-Mobile offers next-day installs to many.

This all comes as there are new reports about T-Mobile expanding its service into even more markets. If reports are correct, T-Mobile’s home internet over fiber may be coming to 13 other cities thanks to a $1 billion deal with Lumos. This would expand T-Mobile’s fiber ambitions to around 250,000 homes and businesses in North Carolina, Virginia, and South Carolina.

The deal is not official yet, but it is reported that T-Mobile will be investing in Lumon to use its networks to sell T-Mobile home internet over fiber. This is very simular to how T-Mobile expanded its fiber network into Flrodia and Minnesota last year.

If you are lucky enough to live in one of these areas, this gives you one more option for home internet.

T-Mobile has reportedly been looking for partners to build out a fiber network for some time now. It seems for now this is just the start of T-Mobile’s home internet plans.
