Today is the official ‘Treat Yo’ Self Day’ 2020 and Parks and Recreation is celebrating by honoring real-life parks and rec department workers around the country who are making a difference.

Jim O’Heir who plays Jerry Gergich on the NBC comedy hosts a special video honoring five parks and recreation workers with a special award for their outstanding performance at their job. The video is available to stream on Peacock.

“Treat Yo’ Self” day is a new holiday that originated from the episode titled “Pawnee Rangers” in season 3 of Parks and Recreation where Donna Meagle and Tom Haverford bring Ben Wyatt on their annual ‘Treat Yo’ Self’ trip where they spent lavish amounts of money on themselves just because they deserve it.

You can stream the special tribute video on Peacock starting today, plus the complete series of Parks and Recreation which is now available for free on Peacock.
