Speedvision, an auto entertainment network, celebrates its first anniversary today by launching free ad-supported streaming television linear channels on Sling Freestream in the U.S. and Samsung TV Plus in the European Union.

U.S. customers can stream Speedvision content on Sling Freestream, while millions of Samsung Smart TV owners in the EU can catch Speedvision’s lineup of “blue-chip vehicle” entertainment, promising diverse, compelling coverage and high-octane programming.

“This influx of distribution growth is a huge exclamation mark on what’s been a tremendous first year for the reborn Speedvision network,” said Rober Scanlon, president and chief executive officer at Speedvision. “Sling Freestream offers access to sizable audiences here in the States, while EU distribution via Samsung TV Plus represents a significant step in Speedvision’s international strategy. We’re thrilled with our first year, but we’re not surprised. Speedvision’s signature auto entertainment resonates uniquely with the enormous car-passionate audience and connects seamlessly with the legions of advertisers seeking to reach them.”
