Charter Communications, the parent company of Spectrum TV, struck a deal carriage deal with TelevisiaUnivision that includes a free streaming service offer for some of its subscribers.
The two companies struck a new multi-year deal that keeps broadcast channels such as Univision and several cable networks like Galavisión in the Spectrum TV lineup. In addition, TelevisaUnivision will launch a new ad-supported premium subscription version of streaming service ViX, which Spectrum customers with a TV Select or Mi Plan Latino package will get for free.
The deal is similar to the one Charter struck with Walt Disney, which brings Disney+ and ESPN+ to certain Spectrum TV subscribers for free. The latest agreement is just further evidence of the blurring of lines between linear TV and streaming video.

The TelevisiaUnivision lineup includes Univision, UniMás, Galavisión, TL Novelas, TUDN, FOROtv, Bandamax, De Película, De Película Clasico, Telehit and Telehit Música.
