If you live in Texas and use Spectrum for your internet you may have noticed it is down right now. Spectrum is having a very large outage in Texas, with reports of outages from San Antonio up over to Houston and up to the Dallas area.

Update: A Spectrum spokesperson sent Cord Cutters News this statement about the outage. “We are aware of the outage currently affecting customers in parts of Texas. The outage is due to a third-party infrastructure issue caused by the impact of Hurricane Beryl. We apologize for the inconvenience and are working with the third party to resolve this as quickly as possible. Thank you.”

It is unknown if this outage is caused by the storm or not, but it’s impacting a lot of areas recently hit by the big storm coming in from the golf.

In a statement posted on X Spectrum said “we are aware of an outage affecting customers in the Texas area. We apologize for inconvenience and are working to resolve as quickly as possible. Thank you.”

Cord Cutters News has reached out to Spectrum for comment and will update our story as we learn more.
