Spectrum and NBCUniversal last year announced a multi-year distribution agreement that brings Peacock Premium, NBCUniversal’s ad-supported streaming service, to all Spectrum TV Select customers at no additional cost. Now Peacock is live to Spectrum customers. Valued at $7.99 per month, Peacock Premium offers over 80,000 hours of content, including live sports, news, and entertainment from NBC, Bravo, Universal Pictures, and DreamWorks Animation, enhancing Spectrum’s hybrid video strategy. The move, effective immediately, aims to deliver a seamless blend of linear and streaming TV, as Spectrum continues to integrate major streaming platforms into its packages.

Tom Montemagno, Executive Vice President of Programming Acquisition for Spectrum, stated, “The integration of Peacock advances our goal of offering customers high-value video products that include the best of linear and streaming television.” He noted that Spectrum TV Select customers—on plans starting at $64.99/month—now gain access to roughly $80 in monthly retail value through bundled streaming services like Peacock, Max, Disney+, ESPN+, Paramount+, ViX, and Tennis Channel, with more additions planned for 2025. “We appreciate NBCUniversal’s willingness to help build a healthier video ecosystem for viewers,” Montemagno added, highlighting the deal’s role in Spectrum’s 5G and satellite expansions, like its recent Skylo partnership.

Peacock Premium, accessible via Spectrum’s Xumo Stream Box or any Peacock-supported device, delivers next-day access to NBC and Bravo shows, live sports like NFL and Premier League, and movies from Universal Pictures and Illumination post-theatrical run. “Spectrum has long been an important distributor of NBCUniversal’s leading broadcast and cable networks,” said Matt Schnaars, President of Platform Distribution and Partnerships at NBCUniversal. “Peacock’s valuable content offering will further strengthen Spectrum’s video products and continue Peacock’s impressive growth.” Peacock, with 34 million subscribers as of Q4 2024 (Comcast earnings), has surged with originals like The Traitors and Poker Face, complementing Spectrum’s 14.1 million video subscribers (Q3 2024).

Customers can activate their subscription at www.spectrum.com/getapp, joining a growing list of bundled streaming perks—Disney+ and ESPN+ were added in January 2025, per Charter’s filings.
