Snoop Dogg joins NBCUniversal’s Olympic Games Paris 2024 coverage this summer.

During Sunday night’s Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings game, Snoop Dogg appeared in a promotional video for the Paris Olympics called Snoop Year’s Eve. He spoke with Team USA athletes, including gymnast Suni Lee, basketball player A’ja Wilson, skateboarder Jagger Eaton, and beach volleyball players Kelly Cheng and Sara Hughes, telling the latter he’d see them in Paris.

Snoop Dogg will serve as an on-location correspondent for the Olympic Primetime Show starting July 26, 2024. He said he grew up watching the Olympics and is thrilled to be part of the Paris events, which he says will be “the most epic Olympics ever.”

“It’s a celebration of skill, dedication, and the pursuit of greatness,” said the legendary rapper and weed enthusiast. “We’re going to have some amazing competitions, and, of course, I will be bringing that Snoop style to the mix.”

This is not Snoop Dogg’s first time providing commentary for Olympic events. During the Tokyo Olympics, he generated tens of millions of views for his coverage of the dressage competition.

“That performance alone has earned Snoop a job as our Special Correspondent in Paris,” said Molly Solomon, executive producer and president of NBC Olympics Productions. “We don’t know what the heck is going to happen every day, but we know he will add his unique perspective to our re-imagined Olympic primetime show.”

Snoop Dogg will explore the city’s iconic landmarks, attend Olympic competitions, and report back to NBC Olympics host Mike Tirico with his take on the events. He’ll also visit the athletes, their friends, and their families.

This is part of NBCUniversal’s collaboration with the organizers of the Paris 2024 Games plan to “reimagine” the events to make them more accessible to the public and showcase the city to the world. Competitions will be held across the city at iconic Parisian landmarks, such as beach volleyball at the Eiffel Tower, equestrian events at the Palace of Versailles, and urban? sports at Place de la Concorde.

Paris will host the Olympics this summer from July 26 through August 11, 2024, followed by the Paralympics, which starts August 28 and concludes on September 8. The games and complete coverage of events will be available on NBC and Peacock.
