The Cartoon Network will be dropped from the Sling TV Orange plan on April 30, according to an email being sent to subscribers. The channel will still be available on Sling Blue and on the Entertainment Extra for those who want to keep watching.

Here’s the email, sent to Sling TV subscribers on March 31.

Hello,

We’re reaching out to let you know that on 4/30/25, Cartoon Network will be removed from your Sling Orange subscription due to rising costs from the programmer.

This channel is still available in various packages on Sling:

  • Sling Blue – Switch any time at no additional cost.
  • Entertainment Extra – $6/mo and includes 13 other channels such as MTV, Paramount Network, and CMT

We’re offering you 1 month free of Entertainment Extra. Visit the deals page to add today!

We understand that changes to your subscription can be unexpected. We want to assure you that we carefully evaluate the channels we offer to ensure our customers receive the best value for their programming.
