Sling TV Updates Their Xbox One App with the Grid Guide

Yesterday Sling TV started to roll out their new Xbox One app to Xbox One owners. This update brings the new and much loved Sling TV grid guide to the Xbox One.

It looks like the hold up for the new grid guide on the Air TV was the ability to integrate locals into the guide.

Back when the new grid guide started to roll out Ben Weinberge, Sling TV’s chief product officer, said, “To help you navigate all the great content we offer, today we’re announcing some new updates to the user interface for Android users, which will begin to roll out to users today. We will continue to roll updates to all Android users in the next several days and will expand these UI updates to additional devices in the coming weeks.”

Grid Guide  We’ve listened to customer feedback and incorporated a traditional grid guide option to allow viewers to quickly browse what’s on now, filter channels by genre, and see the upcoming schedule of every channel in one glance.

The new grid guide is now available on Roku, Fire TV, LG WebOS TVs, Air TV, Xbox One, and other devices.
