Today Sling TV announced an update to their Xbox, LG, and Samsung apps. In this update you will find a new guide and updated search features.

“At Sling, our number one job is to make sure you have a great entertainment experience, and that starts with bringing you features that deliver a seamless user experience across all our devices. Recently we have been working on changes to Xbox, LG and Samsung devices, making it easier for you to navigate through content and watch your favorite shows and movies.” Sling TV said in a statement on their website.

Here is what you will find in the updated Sling TV app:

·       New Search – The search box and keyboard are moved to the left side of the screen, making the keyboard easier to navigate. The Search page default view will show “Popular Searches,” allowing users to quickly browse through the most searched-for content each day. Search results are also now organized into categories like “Top Results,” “Movies,” “Shows” and “Channels.”

·       Micro Guide – The size of the guide that appears when you’re watching a program is now reduced to a “Micro Guide,” making it easier to see what’s on other channels without obscuring the screen. They’ve also added channel filters at the top of the Micro Guide, making it easy to view what’s on live by categories like “My Channels,” “Premiums,” “Sports” and more.
