Sling TV Officially Adds MLB Network & MLB Strike Zone

, ,

After MLB Network appeared for a short time on Sling TV yesterday, today Sling TV officially announced MLB Network and MLB Strike Zone is now on Sling TV. You will find both in the Sling TV Sports Extra Add-on for Sling Orange and Sling Blue customers.

With the addition of MLB Network, Sling TV now has access to 150 live MLB games, original programming, highlights and analysis that air on the MLB Network.

“With MLB season finally upon us, we are thrilled to give customers even more choices with the launch of MLB Network and Strike Zone in our Sports Extra add-on,” said Dana McLeod, vice president of programming at Sling TV. “MLB Network and Strike Zone offer programming that die-hard baseball fans live for and bring highly-requested content to Sling customers not only during baseball season but also during spring training, postseason and beyond.”

What is MLB Network Strike Zone? The MLB Strike Zone is very similar to the NFL Redzone network that jumps you around to all the best action happening right now. “MLB Network Strike Zone takes viewers on a high-speed trip around MLB during the regular season. When live game telecasts air on MLB Network on Tuesday and Friday nights, MLB Network Strike Zone brings fans to every game, with up-to-the-minute highlights, live look-ins and updates, all commercial-free. In addition to game action, MLB Network Strike Zone has the most updated scores, standings and stats throughout the night.” MLB Network said on their website.

The best news is that Sling TV customers with the Sports Extra Add-on will now have access to the MLB Network and MLB Strike Zone along with NFL Network, NBA Network, NHL Network, & more at no additional cost.
