Remote controlUpdate: Sling TV has reached out to say this was a technical issue that has since been resolved.

Some Sling TV users are noticing that the local OTA channels they receive from their antenna are showing up on their Sling app.

A Reddit user posted a photo, showing  all 33 channels that they receive from their antenna, in their live channel guide on the Sling TV app. The Reddit user shared that they subscribe to Sling Blue and watch on a Roku TV. The 33 OTA channels from the antenna are showing up in front of the channels received through the Sling TV subscription. These channels are from the antenna connected to the TV, not through an Air TV device.

Other Reddit users have commented that they’re seeing the same setup, while others are testing out their app and not seeing local channels from their antennas.

It’s possible that this is a new feature that Sling TV is working on to integrate local channels seamlessly into the Sling TV app.

We’ve reached out to Sling TV and will be back with an update when we learn more.
