We have known that Sling TV is coming out with a a device called AirTV that will take your antenna and stream it to your Sling TV apps. Now ZatzNotFunny.com has reported that it will also put Netflix right inside of your Sling TV app.

From a leaked Sling TV ad:

Get the live channels you love and the shows you can’t miss. Watch Sling TV on AirTV Player, and enjoy live sports, shows, and movies with the simplicity of an app. With the AirTV Player, cut the cord and keep the TV experience. You’ll have a single platform for watching Sling TV, Netflix, local channels, and more.

AirTV combines all your live programming with Sling TV and your favorites on Netflix. When you launch your player, you will land in the screen. This screen allows you to customize your favorite channels on Sling TV and launch your favorite Netflix shows and movies

For now no official statement has come from Sling TV or Netflix about this deal but this comes from a very reliable source. It is looking like in January 2017 we should get an announcement about the new AirTV from Sling TV. With CES happening in just two weeks it seems that will be the most likely place and time for this to be announced.

We will update this story as we learn more.
