Sling TV announced today that the AirTV 2 now integrates local channels in the Sling channel guide on Apple TV.

The AirTV 2 is a Wi-Fi enabled network tuner. Sling announced the launch of the OTA DVR in 2019. The device allows users to stream channels from your antenna to your Sling TV app, to watch and record.

With this update, cord cutters using Apple TV can watch local news, sports, and entertainment from channels like ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, and PBC at no additional cost.

Once connected to an AirTV 2 and an OTA antenna, Apple TV viewers can also watch local programming on the Sling app on mobile devices.

The AirTV 2 is available now for a one-time cost of $99.99, or for a limited time, new Sling TV customers can receive an AirTV 2 and HD antenna for free when they prepay for three months of Sling TV service.
