Sling TV Adds Free Premium Previews to Stay in & Sling Free TV Experience

Recently, Sling TV launched the Stay in & Sling initiative, giving Americans free access to news and entertainment during the COVID-19 crisis. Since then, the streaming service has been adding more content to its free section.

Today, SLING TV added the following free previews to its free experience, available for a limited time:

  • SHOWTIME (free preview): A premium network featuring hundreds of theatrically released movies, sports, comedy and original TV series such as “Homeland,” “Shameless” and “Billions.”
  • SHOWTIME 2 (free preview): Combination of movies, first-run feature films and original made-for-cable films originally produced for Showtime. Pass the time with marathons of hit series “Ray Donovan,” “The Affair” or “House of Lies.”
  • SHOWTIME SHOWCASE (free preview): An extensive array of select acclaimed films, documentaries and hilarious comedy specials like “Californication” and “Good Will Hunting.”
  • SHOWTIME FAMILY ZONE (free preview)A huge selection of on-demand family friendly movies including “Bewitched,” “The Pink Panther” and “The Crocodile Hunter: Collision Course.”
  • SHOWTIME NEXT (free preview)Serving up revolutionary films, documentaries, music events and comedy specials like “The Making of: 1917” and “Letters to Juliet” for the next generation of film connoisseurs.
  • SHOWTIME BEYOND (free preview): “The Dark Tower,” “Beowulf” and “Selfie From Hell”make up a wide selection of mind-bending sci-fi, fantasy, and horror films.
  • SHOWTIME WOMEN (free preview)Dedicated to celebrating women on film and behind the camera through groundbreaking films, documentaries and specials like “Little Women” and “Sense and Sensibility.”
  • SHOWTIME WEST (free preview)Everything Showtime has to offer from its West Coast feed, so viewers on the West Coast can catch hits series like “Dexter.”
  • SHOWTIME EXTREME (free preview)Action-packed movies and SHOWTIME CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING for the adrenaline junkies in the family.
  • Kabillion: A leading children’s network offering popular animated shows for the whole family, whether you want to watch an epic battle of “Pokemon” or “Yu-Gi-Oh!,” go on adventures with “LEGO Ninjago,” “Thomas & Friends,” or “Transformers Prime,” or sit back and relax with “Chloe’s Closet.”
  • EPIX sampler: Sample free episodes of some of the top series from EPIX. Episodes 1-2 of “Slow Burn” and episodes 1-3 of “War of the Worlds” are available now for a limited time and EPIX will continue to sample content in the SLING TV free experience.

SLING TV also recently added the following channels/limited time free previews to the Stay in & SLING initiative:

  • ABC News Live: A 24/7 streaming video news channel for breaking news and live events
  • FOX News (free preview)The nation’s most watched television news channel for 17 consecutive years
  • Local FOX affiliates in 18 markets (free preview)New York, Philadelphia, Chicago, Detroit, Washington, D.C., Atlanta, Houston, Phoenix, Seattle, Los Angeles and San Francisco. To view the full list of local markets, visit sling.com.
  • Cheddar News (free preview)A leading post-cable news, media and entertainment company

  • BUZZR: Network offering more than 40,000 iconic game show episodes from classics like “Family Feud,” “What’s My Line?” “Match Game,” “Password,” “Beat the Clock” and “Card Sharks”
  • Cinémoi: Award-winning film, high fashion and international lifestyle channel that offers 24- hour programming of highly curated and acclaimed films
  • DOGTV: 24/7 channel with programs scientifically developed to provide the right company for dogs while you’re working from home

In all, Sling TV is providing more than 3,000 hours of complimentary content, including thousands of free movies and TV episodes.
