SiriusXM on Wednesday launched its holiday lineup with three new channels, rounding out its collection of 26 stations dedicated to the festivities.
The new additions have a staggered launch over the next two months, starting with Trans-Siberian Orchestra Radio on Wednesday. The channel is home to its unique blend of electric guitars and classical music, spanning the group’s complete discography, exclusive recordings, and original shows hosted by the band. Sleep Christmas is also debuting on November 8, featuring meditative versions of classic Christmas tunes.
On December 6, catch Smokey Robinson as he plays his favorite holiday songs from famed talents like Etta James, Eartha Kitt, Stevie Wonder, The Temptations, and other selections spanning the ‘60s, ‘70s, and ‘80s on Smokey Robinson’s Soul Town.
All channels will air through December 26.
SiriusXM Radio has grown to 150 million monthly listeners since launching in 2008. It is the only company offering satellite radio in the U.S., though it trails behind streaming competitors like Spotify with 574 million. New members can get three months of free Streaming Platinum or Platinum, which lets you switch between listening in your car or on a mobile device.
