Sinclair Broadcast Group is the largest owner of over the air TV stations. They are also one of the most cord cutting friendly broadcast TV companies out there. Recently Sinclair announced a deal to allow all of their locals to be added to YouTube TV across the United States. They have also been rolling out their local networks on DIRECTV NOW, Hulu, and PlayStation Vue over recent months. Sinclair also recently started to stream some of their over the air TV networks like Comet for free online.
Now they are adding to their lineup by adding 14 TV stations in 8 markets by buying Bonten. This deal has been announced for some time now but just today it was finalized.

Sinclair is also in the process of buying 42 television stations owned by Tribune Media. That would bring Sinclairs to a total of 233 over the air TV station across the United States.
