Free HBO has been a selling point for many hotels for years. Marriott and other hotels now not only give you the HBO channel for free but also access to HBO Go for free without a login.
Marriott has teamed up with Enseo to offer streaming on hotel TVs at select Marriott properties. With this partnership, you get access to Netflix, YouTube, Crackle, and many other streaming services on your hotel TV. (You will need to log into Netflix with your account to use it. The Enseo system makes it easy to log out and will automatically log you out when you check out.) Now Marriott in partnership with Enseo is offering HBO Go for free to hotel guests.
The Enseo entertainment system is available in hundreds of hotels in the United States and around the world. These are not just the high-end Marriot properties like the JW but many other hotel brands including select Fairfield Inn & Suites to name just one other option.
Hotels seem to be hoping that by offering streaming services like Netflix if you login or free HBO Go with no login they will stand out from other brands.
