Black Friday is here including Peacock’s $1.99 a month deal for 12 months. Now scammers are mass messaging Peacock subscribers saying their subscription has expired and if they click here, they can get renewed for free because it’s Black Friday.
Sadly, Comcast is not offering free Peacock because it is Black Friday. So if you get an email like this, be careful, as it is likely a scam. The good news is Peacock does have a sale on Peacock of you have been thinking of signing up.
Update: Readers have told us they are also getting these emails for Paramount+. So be careful of all emails like this offering free memberships to streaming services on Black Friday.
With these scams, they ask you to enter a new credit card. The site claims it will give you 90 days free of Peacock or Paramount+ for Black Friday. Instead, you get hit with a $30 bill and no access to the streaming service. The scammers are likely also trying to get access to your account by having you enter your email and password so they can resell access to these services.
Peacock’s Black Friday sale is now live and you can get 12 months of services for just $1.99 a month. This offer is good for 12 months and you have until November 28, 2023, to claim this offer. After this offer ends it will return to the normal $5.99 a month rate. You can also pay upfront $19.99 for a full year of Peacock.
