Stingray, a music and video service, added 18 free channels on Samsung TV Plus in the U.S. for the consumer electronic giant’s Smart TVs, Galaxy devices, smart monitors, and family hub refrigerators.

The new audio channels feature a broad range of genres. Users can listen to Hot Country, Remember the 80’s, Nothing’ but 90’s, Flashback 70’s, Smooth Jazz, Easy Listening, The Spa, Today’s K-Pop, Today’s Latin Pop, Romance Latino, Classic Rock, Hip-Hop, and Greatest Hits.

“We are incredibly excited to join forces with Samsung TV Plus, a leading FAST service with unparalleled reach in delivering free premium entertainment, to showcase our diverse portfolio of audio and video channels,” said Jim Riley, President of the U.S. division at Stingray. “This collaboration underscores the appeal of high-quality music experiences and significantly broadens our audience to millions of Samsung TV Plus users across the U.S.”

Samsung is one of many smart TV manufacturers investing in their own free, ad-supported services, drawn by ad revenue that is expected to pass $7.2 billion this year, according to Statista. As more people ditch paying for multiple streaming platforms to scale back entertainment costs, they’re turning to free streaming services to expand their choices.

Stingray is also launching several new video channels on Samsung TV Plus and adding content to its video-on-demand library. Stingray Holidayscapes promises to “elevate any home and make every celebration memorable” with seasonal music. For a tranquil listening experience, check out ZenLIFE by Stingray, a channel promoting daily wellness with guided meditations, soothing sounds, and easy-listening music.

Qello Concerts by Stingray offers full-length concerts and documentaries featuring an extensive collection of fan-favorite artists. For jazz enthusiasts, Stingray DJAZZ has performances, films, and documentaries from the top venues and festivals. Classic music aficionados can find concerts and ballets hosted in some of the grandest venues from around the world on Stingray Classica.

On Thursday, Samsung TV Plus added several new channels, such as Best of Kids, featuring family-friendly shows, including Baby Einstein and The Adventures of Super Mario Brothers. The streaming service also upgraded its platform to help users find new content from its 300+ channels via a refreshed home screen.

Stingray is also available on The Roku Channel, Pluto TV, Tubi, and Freevee. Download the free app from the App Store or Google Play. A premium subscription costs $3.99 a month or $0.99 for students, but those who sign up through their TV provider can stream ad-free for no cost.
