Update: UltraFlix owners NTEK have posted on their site official details and plans to be added to the Fire TV. You can find out more about this breaking news by clicking HERE.

Today Cord Cutters News was contacted by a source close to NanoTek, the owners of Ultraflix streaming service, who stated that on August 22nd a NanoTek shareholders meeting was held announcing the company had struck a partnership with Roku to bring Ultraflix to the Roku 4 making it one of Roku 4’s main apps at launch. They also stated that the partnership would include “Roku Retail Video Promo’s”.

We can confirm that NTEK did hold a shareholders meeting in August and that they are the owners of Ultraflix. At this time Ultraflix dose not have a Roku Channel on their 4K TVs. At this time Cord Cutters News feels very confident in the information from the source is credible.

At this point it looks to be confirmed that the new Rokus will have 4K with Ultraflix leading the way.
