Roku is bidding adieu to 2023 with the launch of a free New Year’s Central Experience that features pop quizzes, karaoke, and daily sweepstakes for a new Roku TV.
Visit The Roku Sweepstakes to enter for a chance to win a 55” Roku Select Series TV, Roku Streambar, and Wireless Bass. You can also enter via a QR code on the New Year’s Central Experience found on the Roku homescreen, though older device owners might need to use the search feature to find it. The sweepstakes runs through January 1, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. PT, and there’s a limit of one entry per day.
Additionally, Roku is offering six months of free DashPass with $0 delivery fees with the registration of a new Roku device.
New Year’s Central hosts a variety of entertainment options, such as Start the Party. This section will show users where to find live coverage of the celebrations from ABC, NBC, and more starting December 31 at 9:00 a.m. ET. Users can also find curated lists of the most searched for films, such as The Super Mario Bros. Movie or MEGAN, or award-winning films like Everything Everywhere All At Once and The Whale.
Movie buffs can visit the Roku City Trivia section for daily pop quizzes. Each game has ten questions about movies, TV, and music. You’ll see a new set of questions like “Which animated TV show follows the adventures of a boy named Aang and his friends in a world of elemental magic?”
Music fans can check out the karaoke section to find New Year’s Eve playlists, dance mixes, and live music channels, including iHeart Radio’s Rock Nation and Yacht Rock Radio.
New Year’s Central is available from December 30 through January 1. Check in on December 31 for free, live New Year’s Eve celebrations.
