The Roku Channel & The WWE Team Up For a New Docuseries

Today Roku and the WWE announced a new docuseries for The Roku Channel that will follow a group of men and women competing to earn a spot as a WWE Superstar.

This will be an eigh-part docuseries to follow these recruits as they train and go through life as a WWE Recruit.

You will also see current Superstars like Cena, “TRIPLE H,” Shawn Michaels, “Big E,” and more.

Millions around the world watch and dream of it, but only a handful of extraordinary individuals can become a WWE Superstar. I am so excited to bring ‘WWE: Recuits’ to The Roku Channel and look forward to giving viewers an exclusive all-access perspective on how the WWE turns the dreams of talented young people into a reality.” Said John Cena, Executive Producer, “WWE: Recruits.”

Filming is now underway and started at the April 1st and 2nd event and SoFi stadium in Los Angeles. No release date has been announced for when the series will launch on The Roku Channel.
