Roku is Named One of The Top 10 Most Innovative Companies

Today Fast Company named Roku as one of the top 10 most innovative companies in North America.

According to Fast Company the company Roku’s pioneering push into TV streaming and its continued efforts have made it one of the most innovative companies.

“As more and more TV is streamed in the future, we’re committed to innovation that delivers simplicity, delight, and value to viewers, creators, and advertisers alike,” said Anthony Wood, founder and CEO of Roku. “The great news for streamers is that we’re just getting started.”

Roku’s push for innovation doesn’t stop at a streaming player or smart TV. Roku has been pushing to pioneer new ad tech, including shippable ads. Roku has also become a leader in the world of free ad-supported streaming services with The Roku Channel.

“Roku, the streaming media devices and software company, brought a variety of successful new products and platforms to market in 2022. In May, the Roku Ultra, the highest-end version of its streaming hardware, bundled the Roku Voice Remote Pro that includes a voice-powered lost remote function (“Hey Roku, find my remote”). That same month it teamed up with a company called Element to make its first outdoor TV outfitted with anti-glare and weather protection. The TV sold out at Walmart.” Fast Company said.

According to our readers, 70% of cord cutters own and use a Roku player or Roku TV to stream video in their homes.
