It looks like the sell-off of Roku models has started. According to several readers Walmart and other stores today started to put out clearance stickers on all current Roku models.

Even Amazon has dropped the price of their current Roku models:

Roku Express now $24.99 (down from $29.99).

Roku Ultra now $98.99 (down from $129.99).

Roku Premiere+ now $82.22 (down from $99.99).

Roku Premiere now $56.79 (down from $79.99).

2016 Roku Stick now $39.99 (down from $49.99).

Why exactly Roku is dropping its prices is hard to say. There are reports that Roku will be releasing a new Roku Stick—the oldest player in its lineup—soon; however, there are now just starting to hear reports of new boxes at this time.

The price drops could be in response to new streaming players from Amazon and Apple coming out in the next month or so. Whatever the reason the good news is that you can now get a Roku player starting at just $24.99.

So if you want a cheap streaming player right now Roku is something you should check out.
