Some Roku users are saying their Roku devices are getting the OS 14.6 update.

OS 14.6 was released to developers for beta testing, under non-disclosure agreements, on May 6. In a Roku Developers blog post, the company said that the update included “BrightScript updates, new media playback and content metadata features, and enhancements to the Roku Resource Monitor and debugging tools.”

The developer release notes, which are still labeled as Roku OS 14.6 Beta, include the same information from the blog post for developer beta testing. There are no notes about changes to the Roku interface or design updates that most users will notice.

If your Roku device is updating with OS 14.6, let us know if you see any changes.
