On the national holiday of May the 4th, we’re here with some Star Wars viewing data. According to a report from Nielsen, U.S. viewers watched over 33 billion minutes of Star Wars content in 2025, spanning linear TV and streaming.

Those 33 billion minutes were spread across Star Wars movies, shows, animation, and documentaries.

While the films made the highest percentage of total viewing time in 2025, it was a live action series, Andor, that was that most watched title. Andor’s final season spent six weeks on Nielsen’s Original Top 10 in the spring, with the show earning 7.4 billion minutes of viewing.

Here’s how more of the titles stacked up with viewing time.

According to Nielsen’s data for the first quarter of this year, Andor was the most popular title among Millenials and Gen X, with Gen Z opting for Star Wars: The Clone Wars, and Baby Boomers and Gen Alpha watching The Mandalorian more than other titles.

Nearly 637 million minutes of Star Wars content were streamed last May 4th. Will fans outdo that number this year? Tune in to Disney+ to find the Star Wars movies, shows, and extras.
