Netflix’s Bridgerton has returned for Season 2 and this installment is predicted to be even more popular than the first premiere. Season 1 debuted on Christmas Day 2020 and quickly became a major success for the streaming service. Audiences couldn’t seem to get enough of the regency era, causing a spike in period dramas throughout the industry.

As is with many returning series, the second season is expected to see even more engagement since the series has had time to gain a solid following and anticipation for the return.

According to data from Diesel Labs, pre-premiere engagements for Bridgerton season two were already outperforming those of season one by 2.5x and projected to be 3.6x – 4.3x that of season one by premiere day of season two.

The data predicts that by premiere day, audience engagement around Bridgerton’s second season will outpace that of the second seasons of The Witcher, Emily in Paris, and Ozark, and could potentially outpace Stranger Things season 2 for engagement at the high end of the range.

In addition, the official trailer drop day for Bridgerton season 2 saw 2.2x engagement compared to the trailer for season 1.

Bridgerton season 2 is now streaming on Netflix.
