Hip-hop icon Remy Ma is stepping into the streaming world with a bold new platform. The Remy Network is set to debut on Thanksgiving Day, November 28, 2025. Backed by OTTera, the free ad-supported streaming service (AVOD) and FAST channel hub will showcase a rich lineup of original content inspired by hip-hop culture.

What to Expect from Remy Network

The Remy Network is built around the idea of giving creators a platform to tell authentic stories, offering everything from scripted series and films to reality shows, music specials, documentaries, sports, and even finance content. It’s not just about Remy Ma, the platform will also feature FAST channels curated by her celebrity peers passionate about producing their own TV content.

The service is co-founded by Remy Ma, Roberto “Rush” Evans (formerly of Monami Entertainment), and Steven Ward (Grama’s Boy Media), and aims to be a hub for cultural storytelling that goes beyond entertainment.

“Remy Network isn’t just another streaming service. It’s a home for creativity and collaboration,” said Remy Ma. “It’s about giving our community a stage to tell our stories our way.”

Who Is Remy Ma?

Remy Ma, born Reminisce Kioni Smith in the Bronx, first broke through the hip-hop scene in the early 2000s under the mentorship of the late Big Pun. She rose to fame as part of Fat Joe’s Terror Squad, helping drive their massive hit “Lean Back” to the top of the charts. Her solo debut There’s Something About Remy arrived in 2006 and solidified her lyrical prowess with tracks like “Conceited” and “Whuteva.” Over the years, she’s picked up multiple BET Awards and Grammy nominations, all while becoming one of the most respected female voices in hip-hop.

But Remy’s journey hasn’t been without challenges. She served six years in prison before making a major comeback, both musically and on TV, with appearances on Love & Hip Hop: New York and her own reality spinoff with then-husband Papoose. More recently, she’s launched the all-female battle rap league Chrome 23, opened a clothing boutique, and continued releasing new music. Now, with Remy Network, she’s stepping into the streaming space to spotlight hip-hop culture on her own terms, through content, not just verses.

Powered by OTTera

OTTera, a global OTT and FAST solutions provider, will handle the platform’s distribution and monetization across devices. Their AdNet+ network will also support ad delivery and revenue, giving Remy Network the infrastructure to scale globally.

“Remy Network represents a culturally significant and innovative platform that we are proud to support,” said Stephen L. Hodge, CEO of OTTera.

If you’re looking for free, culture-driven content this holiday season, Remy Network will be one to watch. With a unique focus on hip-hop-inspired stories and a lineup driven by creators, it’s a fresh take on FAST streaming and it launches just in time for Thanksgiving.
