QVC+, channels typically associated with pushing goods for you to buy, is once again releasing a Christmas movie – on Black Friday.

The new film, The Recipe Files, is a mystery directed by soap opera veteran Lindsay Hartley (Passions, All My Children, Days of Our Lives) and stars singer-songwriter Ashlee Simpson, Morgan Bradley, and Doug Noble. QVC host David Venable, Ali Carr, Steve Doss, and Rachel Boesing appear in cameos. The film debuts on November 24 as part of the Movie Mall experience.

Audiences can shop for exclusive merchandise and deals on QVC+ brand products inspired by the film, such as Kitchen Aid, David’s Cookies, Rastelli’s, and Temp-tations.

This is the second film produced by QVC+, which has been working on incorporating product placements into entertainment. Last year, the shopping channel debuted Holly & the Hot Chocolate about a big city food critic who crashes her car into a billboard and gets stranded in Pine Falls, a town obsessed with Christmas. Starring Hanna Gaffney, Ryan Farrell, and Olivia Gropp, the film follows Holly as she learns the value of community and the magic of hot chocolate.

Also coming to QVC+ is The Ultimate Gift Wrapping Challenge hosted and judged by QVC home décor designer Lauren McBride, along with the World’s Most Famous Gift Wrap Artist Alton DuLaney, and Britain’s Gift Wrapping Queen Jane Means. Contestants must put their creative skills to work to be crowned the Ultimate Gift Wrapping Champion. The series debuts on December 4 and marks QVC+’s first steps into reality competitions.

Additionally, foodies can catch a new streaming show and podcast on HSN+ featuring Michelin-starred chef Curtis Stone, whose brand will launch on the channel later this winter. In his first video podcast series, Stone focuses on the “intersection of food and culture” from his 60-acre ranch in Malibu Canyon, welcoming actors, musicians, and athletes to cook alongside him while discussing current events, favorite family meal memories, and favorite dining experiences.

The QVC+ show will showcase accomplished chefs as they swap stories of personal challenges, cultural influences, and their best recipes. A new episode debuts every month featuring culinary talents like Chef Maria Loi (Loi Estiatorio), Chef Joe Feldman (Falkor Fusion), Chef Aarti Sequeira (Food Network, Cooking Channel), Chef Carla Hall (Top Chef, The Chew), and more. Audiences can cook along with the chefs to master culinary tools and new techniques.

Two new collections are also coming to the platforms. The Edit Collection features top shows like Curated by Sinéad, The Finishing Touch With Paige Mobley, Glamourous Getaways, Feels Like Home With Preston, and The Edit: Gift Guide to give audiences a slew of tips, product suggestions, and fashion advice by lifestyle experts. The Holiday Magic Curated Collection offers seasonal tips for serving festive meals, decorating, festive fashion, and selecting the right gifts. The collection debuts on QVC+ and HSN+ on November 1.

QVC+ and HSN+ are free in more than 100 million U.S. households and offer live, on-demand, and streaming-only content in one app. Select your device and download the app here.
